Bring the Restaurant Home

“I’ve always been very passionate about food and creating menus to ultimately put a smile on people’s faces.”

I grew up in the restaurant industry, becoming executive chef at just 23 years old. In 2019, I was the recipient of the Jean Banchet Rising Star Chef award, and that same year I was a finalist for a James Beard award (as well as a semi-finalist in 2020).

I believe when you go into a restaurant you instantly become a guest in their “home”. The menu choices are already picked out for you, along with the drink selections, and ambiance. Yet, sometimes going out can feel a little bit challenging. After being laid off in the height of the pandemic, I wanted to create an opportunity where you could still have a restaurant experience to celebrate special occasions from the comfort of your own home. From there, Whisk the Night Away was born.
